That would be great,but I get a feeling it will be the more recent maximo....
If done with no short-cuts,with all the power of the HD systems behind it,a no holds barred new gen act/adv platformer I will be very happy. I just hope it's not a generic quick cash cow game,that capcom want to make a quick buck,and are just using the name of an old classic...
Just give me an all out effort,with all of Capcoms resources behind it...

I can only "quess" that he is overseeing this new game.And "possibly" handed over the MGS series to his team.He will probably be more of an overseer to major productions.Still involved,still give major input,but spread himself out a bit more.
Possibly the timer is for two games? One to be revealed on June 1st,and the other at the Konami press event on June 4th?

Done with all the resources Capcom can throw at it.No short cuts,no follow the trends,make it a step above what has been done in the past,add to the gameplay.Use everything possible the HD systems can give it... Their is a reason that this has been my most anticipated game for years now.Even without seeing a stitch on it.And seeing it confirms my feelings....
Atmospheric,ambiant,a surreal mood....
And this being in engine footage without doubt,and 1.5 year's old at that....

I was told this by an old friend I worked with on another project....
I have said all along that I had hoped the gameplay would be more like ICO itself,with SOTC boss battles mixed into the act/adv puzzle solving here and there.
My most anticipated game is here,I cannot wait to see more at E3....

Studios want some of their own time in the spot light.At E3 you have to share the attention.Thus you get a lot of early unveilings.
Dont forget about Sony Studios London,Liverpool and Cambridge....

For me I actually want as many exclusive's as possible. I like the idea of games/series like Gears,Halo to remain with Xbox 360 and 720 for the future. And games like the next Team ICO game,GOW series and the MGS series (to name a few) to remain exclusive to SONY....Any MGS game should remain exclusive to SONY...

In about 425 hours....Or 17 days, 17 hours. That puts us at June 4th at noon, the time of the konami E3 press conference....
Until then we will get announcements of announcements...probably 5 of them,teasing and raising the hype....
But on June 4th, thats when all will be unveiled.......Book it...
No Darren Waters the BBC reporter saw a totally different game. He saw something last year. This ICO footage was from back in about November 07'....It has already been confirmed that the BBC game was not heavy rain or the TEAM ICO game...
The BBC game will mostly likely come from either Sony London or Liverpool studios...
